“The House that Love Built®”

Located less than one mile from Duke Children’s Hospital, the Durham House welcomes up to 55 families each night.

Families staying at this “home-away-from-home” find a comfy bed and a safe place to sleep each night, as well as a home-cooked meal and activities for the kids. Families tell us, however, that the most important thing we offer is the opportunity for sharing with other families who are going through similar situations.

Families who stay in a bedroom may make a small suggested donation of $10 or $15/night. We never turn anyone away due to an inability to donate.
