Ronald McDonald House names TrialCard CEO Mark Bouck

2020 Heart of Gold Honoree

Raleigh, N.C. (January 30, 2020) – At its annual gala on March 6, Ronald McDonald House of Durham and Wake (RMH) presents its highest honor, the Heart of Gold Award, to Mark Bouck, CEO of Morrisville-based TrialCard. Bouck is honored for establishing and embodying TrialCard’s culture of caring.

Under Bouck’s leadership, TrialCard has become one of RMH’s most significant community partners, contributing thousands of volunteer hours and providing nearly 5,000 meals for guest families since 2015. The company and individual employees also contribute sustaining, annual financial support.

RMH executive Director Oie Osterkamp said, “Mark is an incredible leader. In terms of total involvement, volunteering and giving, TrialCard is the company we use as an example of the highest measure of engagement. With Mark setting the standard, TrialCard is an incredibly valued partner with us in caring for kids with serious illnesses and their families.”

TrialCard and RMH are uniquely aligned mission partners. As a leader and advocate for patient access to care, TrialCard understands that for pediatric patients an essential part of the healing equation is keeping families close.

Bouck explains, “Being involved with Ronald McDonald House, with all it does to support pediatric patients and their families, feels like a natural extension of what TrialCard is all about. It’s the perfect charitable partnership for our company.”

In keeping with TrialCard’s spirit of giving, the company is celebrating Bouck’s honor by launching the Inspiring HOPE Campaign to raise $100,000, in support of the RMH mission by involving their employees, vendors and clients. To date, nearly $25,000 has been raised by the Bouck family and TrialCard employees.
